 South Texas has had an absolute ton of rain this spring and everything is looking great. We are already seeing baby turkeys running around after hens. Of course, this is hard since the grass and weeds are so tall. One full set of sheds was picked up from a deer we knew last year to be 4 1/2 years old and given a 20 inch inside spread he scored 166. If the way the Spring has gone is an indication, its going to be a heck of a 2004-2005 season.
This is one of the new photos and is of a deer I killed in 1992. It nets 195 7/8 Non-Typical and is listed in the All Time Records of North American Big game published by the Boone and Crockett club.
Hunters who have hunted the ranch, please feel free to send us photos of your hunting experiences and keep up with us over the course of the year.
