September 16, 2007 - Probably the biggest deer I will ever see.
What do they score?

I've flown a lot of deer surveys and never seen anything like these two deer. I was impressed with the little 4 year old that I saw on the ground last week, but both of these deer make him look like a midget.

What do YOU think these two deer score? I've heard some pretty crazy numbers (and come up with a few). I just have a hard time believing them when we are talking about Rifle Managed Native Genetics.

Send me scores!

I want everyone's "expert" opinion.

More survey pictures will be up soon, there are some really nice young deer and a bunch of "shooter" 130-175 deer on my computer that I haven't been able to upload to the gallery yet because of a technical issue. It is being fixed.

Happy Hunting!

September 10, 2007 - Well... I guess with 54 inches of rain things like this happen

Jumps that deer make on good years continue to amaze me. We have been watching this little multi-pointed deer for a few years. The picture on the far right is a progression from right to left of the same deer from 2.5 to present. This year at 4.5 he absolutely EXPLODED to a score safely over 210". Scouting is going well and I hope to have a few more ground photos, as well as survey photos up sometime next week.

It's going to be fun this year.

Happy Hunting
